Day-wise Itinerary

Day 1: Shimla to Sangla (230 km)

Begin your Spiti road trip from Shimla. Ride through scenic valleys like Narkanda and Rampur to reach Sangla. Overnight stay at a riverside camp, hotel or homestay

Day 2: Sangla to Kalpa via Chitkul (100 km)

After breakfast, visit Chitkul, India’s last inhabited village near the Tibet border. Then ride to Kalpa, known for breathtaking views of Kinner Kailash.

Day 3: Kalpa to Tabo (160 km)

Ride along the Sutlej River and cross Nako. Visit the mysterious Gue Mummy Monastery. Reach Tabo, home to a 1000-year-old monastery.

Day 4: Tabo to Kaza via Dhankar (50 km)

Visit Dhankar Monastery and reach Kaza, the heart of Spiti. Rest and explore the town. Overnight stay.

Day 5: Kaza Local Sightseeing

Explore Chicham bridge, Key Monastery, Kibber, Hikkim (world’s highest post office), and Langza (famous Buddha statue and fossils). Return to Kaza for the night.

Day 6: Kaza to Chandratal Lake (100 km)

Cross the high-altitude Kunzum Pass to reach the magical Chandratal Lake. Stay in tents under a starry sky.

Day 7: Chandratal to Manali (120 km)

Ride through Batao - Gramphoo to reach Manali. End of tour
